Isolation PTA Update

POST FROM OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES DATED: 18th March 2020

So as you will all know by now via the latest government and school announcements, that the school will be closed from Friday afternoon until further notice.

This means that the Easter Egg Hunt planned for Thurs 2nd April will not be going ahead.

For those of you who have already paid on line via Parent Mail, we will be speaking with the school tomorrow about refunds and will update you ASAP. (EDIT This has now been refunded via ParentMail)

We are all facing a daunting time having to entertain and educate our little munchkins and we want to help you as much as we can. 👍🏻

Miss Bright and her team will be working hard to ensure you have everything you need from an educational point of view but she has approached Your PTA about keeping the school community talking and keeping you and the children active. 😁

So from Monday we will have our own page on the school website where we shall share ideas and activities that you may find useful in the coming weeks.

We’ll also be keeping our social media pages up to date. (EDIT See our FB/Insta pages for daily activities!)👌🏻

As for future events - we just don’t know at the moment. But as soon as we are able to update you we will.

Keep yourselves and your family safe.

POST FROM OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES DATED: 20th MARCH 2020

Friday 20th March 2020

... a date which shouldn't be remembered but it sure will be.
We know how difficult, upsetting, confusing, weird, today was...

From the new starters to the last yearers and everyone in between with everything being uncertain and a big change ahead.

To the children in Year 6...
We know this must be a really confusing time for you all.

Please keep smiling and continue to chat with friends/family this is where social media can help us all out.
We are keeping positive of course that we can still do our usual send off for you all with the leavers disco and assembly...
However if things do change we will still make sure you get the send off you all deserve.
Today we've prepped ahead and got some of the you sized up for Hoodies which this year will be different in that all children in Yr6 will receive a hoodie free of charge.
We have spoken to school and your yearbooks and they are being sorted.

As for everything else we will see how we go and of course keep you updated.

We are now not in school but that doesn't mean the PTA are gone we are all in this together so keep an eye on our page and we'll be posting some activities to hopefully help you guys out at home.

(EDIT See our FB/Insta pages)

Stay safe, keep in touch
